After mounting the soldering iron to the drill press it allows you to perfectly insert brass heated inserts into your printed parts.

I am using a 1/4-20 nut and bolt for the clamp and a 5/16 bolt for the part that fits into the drill press chuck.

My print settings are 4 walls and 25 percent cubic infill. (PLA or PETG are fine for this application)
