Having made a mushroom cache some time ago, new cache discoveries inspired me to make this acorn cache. Please let me know if you used it as a geocache, who knows, I might come to log it ^^. This model can, of course, be used in other settings than geocaching: a key can fit inside the medium model, so it could be used as a backup-key container as well, for example. Or perhaps it can be a safe money cache if used as decoration at home.
This publication contains 3 variants to improve printing this design in 3 different sizes. The bigger sizes can contain the smaller sizes, so you could also use them as 3-layered russian dolls/matryoshkas.
The fusion file is provided would you want to see how it's done or simply edit the model easily.
Printing information:
All the parts come in the right position for printing.
You only need 1 cap and 1 bottom (there are 2 cap designs: with and without a hole)
Use tree supports and brims to print each piece.
As the cache is going to be in contact with water/humidity, I recommend printing it in a non-porous material like PETG (or ASA).
