My EIBOS Easy Dry was destroying my spools and fusing the filament near the hub. I use a Brazilian filament brand with 58 mm hub diameter spools. You can easily adjust the FreeCAD file — just keep the inner hole at 50 mm diameter to fit on the Eibos.
I've been using the dryer for a week with temperature of 60°C near the spool hub (even while printing). The spool spacer until has protected the filaments spools from deformation.
Spool Spacer
Material: PETG ( Use ABS,ASA for more heat endurence)
Diameter: 57.2 mm
Height: 65 mm
Print Settings
Layer Height: 0.3 mm
Walls: 2
Infill: 5% - Light cross-hatch infill, just enough to create air pockets for some thermal isolation and to prevent deformation of the spoll. It did work until now. The spacer thickness shrank 0.5mm, so maybe using more infill or increase the walls will hold the shrinkage, even with this problems the Spacer is working as intended.
