XY Hole Calibration Test STL

When you print holes on a 3D printer, every printer produces them slightly differently. Because of differences in hardware, calibration, filament, and slicer settings, holes often print smaller or larger than their designed size.

This model allows you to measure those differences and adjust the X/Y Hole Compensation setting in your slicer to achieve more precise prints.

Included Hole Sizes

The model includes three holes:

• 1 mm
• 2 mm
• 3 mm

How to Use

1. Print the STL file.
2. Measure each hole with calipers.
3. Compare the measured size to the intended size.
4. Adjust the X/Y Hole Compensation in your slicer.
5. Reprint if needed until the holes are dimensionally accurate.

Result

After calibration, your printer will produce more accurate hole dimensions, resulting in better-fitting parts.
